From architectural new homes and major renovations to complex residential developments, we help clients understand construction costs, manage budgets and reduce financial risk throughout their projects.
Tauranga's residential construction market includes premium properties throughout areas such as Mount Maunganui, Pāpāmoa and surrounding coastal and lifestyle locations. For bespoke builds where architectural detailing, specialist materials and high-quality finishes can significantly influence construction costs, engaging an experienced Tauranga Quantity Surveyor can provide valuable financial clarity.
Southern Projects can become involved from the earliest stages of your project. Our elemental cost estimates provide preliminary budget guidance based on concept plans, sketches or developing architectural drawings. This allows cost considerations to influence the design while meaningful changes can still be made.
Our value engineering service explores opportunities to achieve better value through alternative materials, specifications or construction methods without unnecessarily compromising quality or design intent.
We also provide construction pricing and tendering services, helping clients evaluate contractor pricing and establish greater cost certainty before building begins. During construction, our cost management and project management services help monitor expenditure, coordinate key information and keep projects moving towards their agreed objectives.
Southern Projects also supports reputable building companies with Contractor Quantity Surveying services, including valuations, financial administration, cost tracking and contract management.
For expert Quantity Surveying in Tauranga, Papamoa and Mt Maunganui, Southern Projects combines high-end residential expertise with practical cost advice from concept to completion.
